VIWASEEN is choosed to be the Investor for Duong river Water Supply System and Water treatment plant
On the date of 28 April, 2010, the Prime Minister approved Vietnam Water Supply Sewerage and Environment Construction Investment Corporation to be the Investor for implementing investment project of Duong river Water Supply System and Water Treatment Plant.
According to Letter Ref. 685/TTg-KTN signed on 28 April, 2010, the Prime Minister agreed with the Proposal from Ministry of Construction on choosing VIWASEEN as the Investor for implementing investment project of Duong river Water Supply System and Water Treatment Plant
It is an inter-area water supply project with total capacity of 600,000m3/day supply treated water to Hanoi area (the North of Red river and a part of Southeastern area) and surrounding provinces: Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Bac Ninh.
The project has been studied since 2008 basing on Master Plan on the Greater Hanoi Area up to 2020 and version to 2050 in Decision 490/QD-TTg dated 5 May, 2008. The first stage shall be completed in 2012 – 2013 with capacity of 300,000m3/day.
