Ground Breaking Ceremony of Hung Yen city Water Supply System, capacity 10,000m3/day – Finnish ODA fund
(VIWASEEN) – On January 29, 2010, Hung Yen Water Business One Member Ltd Co., held the Ground Breaking Ceremony of Hung Yen city Water Supply System, capacity 10,000m3/day – Finnish ODA fund
Distinguished guests and delegates attended the Ceremony as: Mr. Pekka Hyvonen – Ambassador, Finnish Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Bui Pham Khanh – Vice Minister, MOC; Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang – Deputy Director of Economics and International Affair, MPI; Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong – Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Hung Yen People’s Committee. On behalf of the Contractor, there were presents of Mr. Reijo Rosengren – Site Manager of BAFO cc Ltd (Finnish Main Contractor); Mr. Le Kha Manh – General Director, VIWASEEN and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Chairman, Director of VIWASEEN.1 (Vietnamese Sub-Contractor). Representatives of Ministries, departments, leaders of provinces, districts, etc
Hung Yen City Water Supply System using Finnish ODA with capacity of 10,000m3/day includes: water treatment plant with area of 5.5 ha with synchnous treatment system and reservoir of 3,000 m3; raw water pumping station and intake works from Ben Moi (Thien Phien Commune – Tien Lu district); raw water transmission pipeline to the Treatment Plants with total length of 3,000m; treated water distribution pipeline with length of 15km and 22 km of service connecting, etc. Total investment capital is 7,596,154 EURO (equivalent to 173,952 billion VND).
The works shall be executed in form of EPC Contract by the Finnish Main Contractor – BAFO cc Ltd and Vietnamese Sub-Contractor – VIWASEEN Corporation.
The project shall be completed and handed over within 18 months.
